As part of your initial purchase, you receive one year of free updates and access to the Registered User site. At the end of that year, you may renew your maintenance agreement (see pricing details on the Sparx Systems website). If you choose not to renew, you lose access to product downloads and the Registered User site.
For this reason, we strongly recommend that you make a backup copy of your download to a permanent medium like CD ROM. This enables you to re-install at any when you have no more access to the registered area. If your access to the registered area is still valid, you find there, the latest build of any EA major release next to the latest build of the latest Enterprise Architect version.
The login credentials are included in your license mail. They are necessary to access the registered user section and are valid for 12 Months. We provide here a Web service to check your current duration.
Notice: Once you have purchased EA, if your subscription lapses, you can reinstate it at any time just by paying the renewal fee for the license type you hold. This will entitle you to download the latest version of EA. Please contact sales@sparxsystems.eu ideally included with your license Key(s) – to get a price information in a short time.
