We decided to use Zoom as the primary technology for our web-based training courses because, in addition to excellent picture and sound quality, it offers an extremely important feature for the successful completion of our training courses: the moderator (= trainer) can during a Practice helping a participant who needs his help.
A participant can request the support of the trainer through a previously agreed signaling (e.g. Zoom feature “Raise Hand”) and the release of his screen. The trainer can take control of the participant’s screen and support him/her without changing the transferred content of the trainer screen and thereby disturbing the other participants in performing an exercise.
